Arbitration and Mediation in the ACP-EU Relations Conference

The Association for International Arbitration (AIA) in Brussels isorganizing a conference on the subject of Arbitration, ADR Mediation in the ACP (African, Caribbean and Pacific states)-EU relation. The success and awareness of the ACP-EU arbitration and ADR Mediation will greatly contribute to international relationships between the European Union countries and those of the ACP states, because it provides speed, economy and procedure flexibility especially on the international level, it allows the parties to tailor their arbitration in accordance with their different procedural expectations.

We strongly believe a discussion of this sort is necessary to provide the sector with such important and relevant information.

The conference organized by the AIA expects to attract participants from the ACP states´ diplomatic representation, media and professionals on the field of arbitration and ADR mediation and in general enthusiastic professionals working toward promoting mutual cooperation and understanding that will ultimately lead to stronger ties for trade and international relationships.

The event will take place on the 21st of MAY 2008, it will be held at the ACP House 451 Avenue Georges Henri, 1200 Brussels, Belgium.
